Jack Esher presently serves on the Bankruptcy Mediation Panel at Mediation Works Incorporated in Boston. He also has over thirty years of experience in handling commercial and personal mediation and arbitration matters. He has mediated hundreds of matters, including complex, multi-party real estate and commercial matters, and has conducted arbitrations in accordance with the AAA Arbitration Rules and the JAMS Arbitration Rules. Jack is currently serving as a primary mediator for derivative contract disputes in the Lehman Brothers Chapter 11 case pending in the Southern District of New York, and was recently retained to mediate a matter in the Enron case.

As a bankruptcy mediator and arbitrator, Mr. Esher has established a national reputation. He is a co-author, with former Bankruptcy Judges Lisa Fenning and Erwin Katz, on the acclaimed ABI manual on mediation in bankruptcy – The ABI Guide to Bankruptcy Mediation, and has lectured extensively on mediation and ADR topics all over the country and abroad. He has trained over five hundred mediators for the civil courts of Thailand through a program under US AID and the World Bank.
Mr. Esher serves on the Register of Mediators for the Delaware Bankruptcy Court, and has served as a Claims Mediator and Arbitrator as well as a Preference Facility Mediator in mega cases in Delaware, Massachusetts and New York.
